  • Where are the user manuals for Pria?
  • How many users can use Pria?

    Pria can store and dispense medications for one person. Multiple people can converse with Pria and you can also assign an unlimited number of Pria contacts!

  • How difficult is the setup process?

    The Quick Start Guide and on device instruction's will walk the user and helpers every step of the way. The setup is intuitive and Pria is your personal assistance to help get set up. If you get stuck at all, please call Customer Care at 1-866-608-5168 and someone can assist you.

  • Who can I video call with? What is "drop in"?

    You are able to video call anyone you dedicate as a Pria contact. You can call each other from the Pria mobile app or just say "Ok Pria, call (insert name of your contact)" and Pria will call them.

    The Drop-In feature allows a dedicated Pria contact to be able to automatically use the video stream on Pria. The end user does not have to answer the device, instead it automatically starts the call but only if that individual has that preference selected.

  • What does unboxing Pria look like?

    Pria does not come with many components, making the setup of the physical device rather easy! In the box you will find the Pria device with a Pill Wheel already inside, a Quick Start Guide, power adapter and pill cup. See the video showing an example of removing the device!

  • Where can I find the mobile application?

    Please go to www.okpria.com and choose either iOS or Android to access the appropriate mobile application store. You can also go directly to the mobile app store on your device and search for "Pria by BLACK+DECKER" and donwload it directly.

  • Can I set Pria up for someone else?

    If you are setting up Pria for your loved one without them, you can set up their account and enter their medication regimen. However they may need to revisit facial training and voice training. This will optimize the device performance and you can sign up for a Pria contact account as well!

  • Cleaning the dosage wheel

    Use soap and warm water to clean the pill wheel by hand. Do NOT put the pill wheel in the dishwasher. Allow the pill wheel and dosage dividers to completely dry before inserting into the pill wheel and then into the device.

  • How do I clean the device?

    To clean the device, please use a dry cloth. Be careful with cleaning solutions as this may damage the screen and body of the device. If the marks on Pria will not come off with a dry cloth, resort to a lightly dampened cloth for additional cleaning.

  • Dishwasher Safe?

    Please DO NOT put the Pria device or accessories in the dishwasher. The device can be cleaned with a dry cloth or if necessary a lightly damp cloth with water, please refrain from cleaning solvents. The pill wheel should be wiped down with a dry or damp cloth, please do not submerge the pill wheel in water. The pill cup can be hand washed with hot soapy water as needed.

  • How do I clean the pill cup?

    Please use hot soapy water and make sure you dry out the cup before placing back onto the device.

  • Does Pria have cellular connectivity?

    Pria does not currently have cellular connectivity, only Wi-Fi is available at this time. Pria will work on a personal hotspot if you need her to!

  • What Wi-Fi do I need / What Wi-Fi do you support?

    The current version of Pria is compatible with 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi, however in the future we plan to be compatible with 5.0 Ghz Wi-Fi as well! During the on-boarding process, your Pria device will walk you through connecting to a secure Wi-Fi. If you have a captive portal, please connect to a network without it.

  • Do I need to use my phone to use Pria?

    Yes, you will need either the end user's mobile phone or a Pria contact that is a helper. The mobile application will be used to connect your account with your new Pria and load in your medication schedule. After setup, the application on the user or Pria contacts phone for notifications when you are away from your device, video calling, reporting and Check In questions.

  • How do I make video/audio calls?

    Once members have been added as Pria Contacts in the app, you can call them (either video or voice) directly from your Pria! Simply say "OK, Pria - Call [name]" and your device will handle the rest!

    If you are a Pria contact, you can use the mobile app to call the Pria user that you are connected with!

  • What mobile phones are compatible with the app?

    Both iOS and Android phones are compatible with Pria.

    The following Android phones may present a negative experience with the Pria App. Please email us hello@okpria.com to be informed about when these phones will be supported.

  • How do I know if my device is connected to Wi-Fi?

    To know whether your device is connected to Wi-Fi or to know which network your device is connected to, swipe from right to left on your screen to access the dashboard. From here, click on settings and then Network Settings.

  • How do I connect Pria to a new Wi-Fi network? / My Wi-Fi network isn't working.

    To connect to a new Wi-Fi network, open your device dashboard and choose Settings from the options wheel and select Network Settings. From here, Pria will search for all available networks. Please choose the network with the strongest signal for optimal performance!

  • How do I update Pria?

    Automatic updates will periodically happen to the Pria device. These should happen overnight in order to not disrupt your day to day. In the event that you want to check for updates yourself, please go to settings, click on About and select Check for Updates. To update the mobile application, please go to your app store.

    Location Settings,"Using the Pria mobile application, navigate to the Profile screen on the bottom right hand corner. Now, select Manage Your Pria and scroll down until you see location. From here, choose the location that you wish Pria to operate on!

  • Does Pria use Bluetooth?

    No, Pria is a connected device via Wi-Fi. In the future, Pria will connect to secondary devices, so stay tuned! If you have the need to connect to other devices, please send us a note at hello@okpria.com

  • What kinds of questions can I ask Pria?

    Besides asking for your scheduled doses, try asking Pria about the weather, or about facts or to even tell you a joke!

  • What languages can Pria speak and understand?

    Today, Pria can speak and understand English. She is working on expanding her languages so that she can support more people.

  • What if I am soft spoken?

    Pria's voice recognition capabilities are strong. We've tested her across a range of voice tonalities and accents.

  • How does Pria know which pills to dispense at a given time?

    We have built a mobile application to help with the process. After downloading the Pria app you will be prompted to input the name of your medications, the quantity and the times at which those pills should be taken. You only need to do this once. The information will sync with Pria and she will know which pills to dispense at what times. The medications will be in doses inside of the pill wheel.

  • How many pills can Pria hold?

    Pria can store about 10 medium sized pills per dosage bin. That is roughly 300 pills in total depending on size. If a user takes more than what can be stored at one particular period in time, they can split it up into two time periods.

  • How many different medications can Pria support?

    There is not a limit to the number of different medications that can be stored in Pria's mobile application. You can add as many as you would like to the app, including both pills stored inside and outside the device. The amount of pills that you can physically store will vary based on the size of your medications. In its portable pill wheel, Pria has 28 bins. Each bin can contain multiple pills. If you take your pills once per day, then Pria stores four weeks worth of pills.

  • Can Pria store and dispense half pills?

    Half or broken pills should dispense perfectly fine if broken in half, although again that is dependent on the size of the pill itself.

  • Can I store gummy type supplements in the pill-wheel?

    Unfortunately, our pill-wheel is not optimized for gummies at this time. To prevent them from getting stuck inside of the wheel, and to keep all of your other medications safe and clean, you'll want to store gummy medications outside of Pria.

  • What about refrigerated medications?

    You will need to store those in the fridge. However, you can still enter the schedule information into the Pria app so that Pria can remind you when it is time to take them and track your adherence!

  • Can I dispense doses ahead of time?

    Yes! If you will be going away for the day or multiple days, you can take your entire pill wheel or just say "Ok Pria, dispense my meds" and have her dispense enough meds to get you through your time away.

  • "Can my medication be dispensed without the cup? If I lose my cup, will any cup work?

    No! Pria will not dispense pills unless she detects that a cup is in place below. It is best to use the Pria dedicated cup, if for some reason you do not have the Pria cup, any cup that can be detected by the sensor should work.

  • How do I load my medications?

    First, always remember to update your medication schedule in the mobile application. Pria has a slot on top of the device where you will load your pills. Using the screen or voice interface you will be guided step by step in the loading process. Using proprietary algorithms, Pria will sort the pills into the correct bins. However, if you prefer, you can also remove the container and place your Pills directly into Pria's extractable dosage wheel and Pria will guide you through loading. You can load anytime by saying "OK Pria, load my meds".

  • How many days worth of pills can Pria hold?

    Pria has 28 bins, and each can hold multiple pills. If you take medication once per day, then you can store 4 weeks worth! If you take medications twice per day, you will be able to store for two weeks. Remember that you can still use Pria to remind you to take medications not stored in the device, including gummies and liquids!

  • How do I add half doses to the Pria app?

    When adding a half dose or pill to the mobile application, enter it as half of the total dosage. Example: If a full dose is 20 mg, and you're adding half doses (pills cut in half), add your medication as 10 mg when entering in the mobile app.

  • Does Pria track my medication adherence?

    Yes! Every time you take or missed a scheduled dose, Pria with connection to the mobile application will keep those records. Feel free to look back at your Report section in the mobile application to see how you have been doing!

  • Do I need to plug Pria in?

    Yes! Pria runs on a 100-240V AC/DC power adapter. This power supply is UL listed and can be plugged into most standard outlets.

  • Will Pria work if I lose power?

    Yes! To get the most out of Pria you will need to plug her into a power outlet. However, if the power cuts in your home we have an internal battery that will be able to power Pria for up to 6 hours depending on usage.

  • What is a Pria Contact?

    Pria contacts are individuals that you would like to add to your Pria account. All contacts can have different access levels. You can decide individually if these people can call you, drop in. An unlimited number of Pria Contacts are included with your subscription! This allows you to decide who can contact you via Pria and who you can contact.

  • How many contacts can I add to my account?

    As long as your subscription is valid, you can invite an unlimited number of contacts to your device and personalize their settings.

  • Can I remove a Pria contact?

    Yes! You can remove a Pria contact from accessing your profile at any time from the Pria mobile application of the end user!

  • How do you store my data?

    When dealing with your private information we have to adhere to strict rules. The data that we collect will be stored and transported according to HIPAA regulations. Please see our Terms of Use for more detailed information.

  • Can Pria really recognize me?

    Yes! Our engineers have years of experience building and working with both voice and facial recognition software. Pria will be able to see you from several feet away, assuming the lighting conditions are fine! Her omnidirectional microphones mean that she'll be able to hear you from anywhere in the room.

  • How do I set a reminder on Pria?

    This is done on the device. You can wake Pria up by saying "OK Pria, remind me to drink more water in one hour." Soon, you will be able to set reminders from the mobile application as well.

  • "Can Pria remind me to take other supplements such as powders, liquids and or injections?

    Yes. While Pria only stores pills, she can still remind you to take other supplements directly from the device itself, or via notifications on our mobile application.

  • What types of medications should I store in Pria?

    Pria does not control, secure or lock medications. All medications are accessible via the pill-wheel in the back of the device. Please do not store any critical medications. Pria will only assist you with taking medications that you told it to, it is up to the end user to fill the device.

  • Will Pria send reminders to my phone?

    Yes! When you ask Pria to remind you of something, it will also send a notification to your mobile phone if you have the Pria app properly installed.

  • What types of notifications will Pria send?

    Pria will send you notifications through your device and on your phone when it's time to take your medications. You will also get notifications for check-in questions, device status and video calls. The appropriate notifications will also go to Pria contacts if enabled.

  • Will Pria remind me to take my pills?

    Yes. Pria will alert and remind you directly from the device itself, or via notifications from our mobile application. The device will alert the user with flashing lights underneath and audio notification.

  • What happens if I break parts of Pria?

    Although the cup is sturdy, We offer several replacement parts including cups, power supplies and pill wheels. Please contact us by emailing us at hello@okpria.com or calling us at 866-608-5168, if you need assistance.

  • I lost my cup!

    If you are missing your cup or any pieces of Pria, please contact us by emailing us at hello@okpria.com or calling us at 866-608-5168."   • What happens to my information if I return the device?

    Once a return is requested and arrives to our offices, your Pria will no longer be associated with your account. Your data will remain in the App until you delete your account. Please remember, you can always clear the information yourself on the device by choosing Settings, the About screen and then by selecting Reset to Factory Defaults. REMEMBER, this will clear out the device profile, but your information will remain on your mobile application.

  • How do I return my device?

    To request a return from a purchase on www.okpria.com, you must contact Pria support at hello@okpria.com, at which point a return shipping label will be provided to you. Once you have requested your return, you may be eligible for a refund of the purchase price (less all applicable discounts) as long as the Device is received within thirty (30) days from the date you requested the return. If you do not return the Device within that 30-day period, the refund will not be applied. Please secure the device safely in the packaging with all appropriate return labels.

  • What is the Return Policy?

  • Why do I need a subscription?

    Your monthly subscription includes unlimited use of Pria's features. This is for adding Pria contacts, two way video calling, medication adherence, question and answer tools and constant automatic updates as Pria learns more! Not only will you receive the mobile application updates, but also Pria software updates.

  • How much is a subscription?

    There will be a monthly subscription along with the cost of the device. A subscription will be needed to keep your account active in good standing. A subscription includes unlimited Pria contacts, two way video calling, medication adherence, question and answer tools and constant automatic updates as Pria learns more!

  • How do I renew/cancel my subscription?

    You can manage your renewal of subscriptions on our website. Visit https://www.okpria.com and log in to view your account. To cancel your subscription, please email hello@okpria.com or call us at 866-608-5168.

  • "If I will be away, can I dispense meds ahead of time?

    Yes! If you will be going away for the day or multiple days, you can take your entire pill wheel or just say "Ok Pria, dispense my meds" and have her dispense enough meds to get you through your time away.

  • What is the best way to transport Pria?

    If you need to travel with Pria, you have a few options!

    If you'd simply like to take your medications with you, you can open Pria's back door and remove the entire pill wheel. Use the knob that says "pull" to remove.

    If you'd like to transport the entire device, we recommend putting her back in her original box to prevent potential damage! Remember to the power supply along for the trip.

  • Face Recognition Training

    Here are some helpful tips to make Face Training quick, easy and successful:

    Make sure your face is well lit

    Standing so the light is directly in front of you, brings out the details and helps Pria capture the perfect photo of you.

    Make sure there isn't a strong light behind you

    Avoid standing directly in front of a window or light source. This will create shadows on your face, and make it hard for Pria to see you.

    Make sure the device is not facing the light

    Pria facing a light source, will make a person appear as a dark silhouette, creating difficulty for Pria to capture the details of your face in an image. Make sure Pria's back is facing towards the light source to prevent this.

    Make sure you position yourself so your face fills the green circle

    Make sure there isn't another person in the frame

  • Pill Wheel Error

    While your Pria device and pill wheel should calibrate automatically, if something seems off with the wheel (not spinning as expected, etc.), know that two things will happen to keep your device safe:

    We will detect the pill wheel error and send it to our engineers

    Once we do detect an issue with the pill wheel, we'll display an error on the Pria screen informing you to contact our Support team

    If a pill wheel error displays on your screen, here are the steps to fix the problem:

    Open the back lid, note the position of the pill wheel

    Remove the Pill Wheel

    Rotate wheel 180 degrees from where you found it

    Reinsert the Pill Wheel inside

    Close the back lid

    Continue using the device!

    This should fix the issue and cause the wheel to recalibrate. If it doesn't please contact our Support team for additional assistance.

  • What do the lights on the front of Pria mean?

    Yellow Flashing Light: Pending Notification
    Blue Light: Pria is listening for a command
    Red Light: Pria is muted, this means she is not listening for any commands and will not say anything.
    Green Light: Pria is running on backup battery, plug it in as soon as possible!

  • How do I restart Pria?

    If you need to restart Pria:

    1. First make sure the device is active by either saying "OK, Pria" or single tapping the screen
    2. Once active (the blue light appears), using your finger, swipe from right to left and open the dashboard. Click on settings and scroll to the bottom.
    3. Select "Reboot" from the list of menu options
    4. Pria will automatically restart,you do not need to do anything on your end. This process may take 1-2 minutes

    If you just need to do a quick Pria refresh, hold your finger over the Microphone/Mute button on Pria's screen for 6 seconds. You will see Pria's eyes flash after she refresh's herself.

  • Face Recognition Training

    Here are some helpful tips to make Face Training quick, easy and successful:

  • Pria is not responding, what can I do?

    If you are unable to restart from the dashboard, you can refresh Pria by holding down the microphone/mute button for 6 seconds. You will see Pria's eyes light up when she resets herself in just a few short seconds.

  • I think a pill got stuck, what do I do?

    Pria does her best to alert you if a pill has been stuck during dispensing. You can always remove the pill wheel and see if medications are stuck. Please let Pria know if she warns you if a pill was truly stuck or not so that she knows better next time!

  • How do I handle the pill wheel?

    The pill wheel should primarily remain in the device. If you need to remove the pill wheel, you can use the red unlock button by gently pressing down on the button and rotating the clear cover. Note: if you unscrew the knob, the dividers may all fall out if turned over!

  • Can I use a custom wake word?

    Unfortunately right now we can only use Pria's name. Try it out, "Ok Pria, where are you from?"

  • How do I power Pria off?

    You can just say "Ok Pria, power off" or you can access this from the dashboard wheel by selecting Settings and then scrolling to Power Off on the bottom.

  • Adjusting the volume

    To adjust the volume on the device, please say "Ok Pria, volume up/down" or Ok Pria, volume (1-15). If you do not want any audio or want Pria to mute herself please say "Ok Pria, go to sleep"" ,

  • Is there a warranty?
